From 毛泽东《七律·长征》(Mao Zedong, October 1935): 红军不怕远征难，万水千山只等闲。五岭逶迤腾细浪，乌蒙磅礴走泥丸 (The Red Army fears no hardship of the long march; ten thousand waters, a thousand mountains are mere trifles. The Five Ranges, winding, are leaping ripples; mighty Wumeng rolls by like a pellet of mud). 五岭 = the Five Ranges separating Guangdong/Guangxi from Jiangxi/Hunan; 乌蒙 = the Wumeng range between Yunnan and Guizhou.
usage
Always paired with 乌蒙磅礴走泥丸 — the two parallel images (winding/mighty, ripples/clay pellet) balance each other. 逶迤 = wēiyí (CC-CEDICT confirms: long and winding). Note 逶 = wēi (NOT wěi).
