中餐 both mean Chinese food;
中餐 sounds more like a menu or a restaurant sign and pairs with
西餐 'Western food'. Inside China people usually name the regional cuisine instead, such as
川菜 or
粤菜. Other countries' food follows the same pattern:

法国菜.
