history
Haojing and King Wen's older capital Fengjing (丰京) faced each other across the Feng River and are often named together as 丰镐. Invaders sacked Haojing in 771 BC, the court moved east to Luoyang, and the Western Zhou (西周) gave way to the Eastern Zhou.
