Formed 2004 in Nanjing; core members Hua Dong (华东, vocals/guitar) and Liu Min (刘敏, synths/bass). One of the first Chinese bands on the UK label Modern Sky overseas; toured internationally with Brian Eno as a mentor figure. Their 2017 album 《Before the Applause》 broke them through to broader audiences, and 《乐队的夏天》 season 1 in 2019 brought them mainstream recognition in mainland China.
