usage

逛 carries a relaxed, wandering feel — 'to stroll around'. 逛超市 is different from 买东西 (shop purposefully): you go to browse, pick up whatever looks good, maybe grab dinner ideas. Compare 逛街 (stroll the streets/mall) and 逛商场 (wander the department store).
