资料室 (zīliàoshì): archives room

Common in offices, schools, libraries, and universities. Distinguish from 图书馆 (túshūguǎn, 'library' — the public-facing institution) and 档案室 (dàng'ànshì, 'archive of personnel/historical files'). 资料室 holds reference materials, journals, internal documents — somewhere between a library and an archive.
