金刚烷 is the Chinese term for adamantane — a diamond-lattice-shaped hydrocarbon (金刚 'diamond' + 烷 '-ane' alkane suffix). Amantadine was the first clinically used antiviral (1960s), and later Chinese veterinary overuse in poultry drove widespread H5N1 resistance, leading WHO to deprecate it for flu.
