culture
In 苏轼's Mid-Autumn ci 《水调歌头》 the poet longs to ride the wind up to the moon, 又恐琼楼玉宇,高处不胜寒 "yet fears that in those jade towers, so high up, the cold would be too much to bear". The line made the phrase the standard picture of the palace on the moon.
