Shanghai has two airports: 浦东 (PVG) mostly handles international, 虹桥 (SHA) mostly domestic. Don't mix them up — they are on opposite sides of the city and an hour apart. Full official name: 上海浦东国际机场.
The Shanghai Transrapid maglev between Pudong Airport and Longyang Road station — 30 km in under 8 minutes, peaking at 431 km/h. The only commercial high-speed maglev line in the world.
