巴博萨 is the Chinese transliteration of Barbossa, the cursed pirate captain of the Black Pearl in 《
加勒比海盗》 (Pirates of the Caribbean). Geoffrey Rush played him across all five films in the franchise. The name ultimately echoes the 16th-century Ottoman corsair Hayreddin Barbarossa ('Redbeard'), one of the original real-world pirate legends.
