Cui Hong spent over 20 years compiling 《十六国春秋》 ('Spring and Autumn Annals of the Sixteen Kingdoms'), 102 volumes covering the chaotic Sixteen Kingdoms period (304-439 CE). The original was lost; what survives today is a Ming-dynasty reconstruction.
