A prized native Chinese sheep breed from the Huang-Huai plain (Shandong, Henan, Hebei), famous among animal-husbandry specialists for its fast growth, twin/triplet lambing, and cold-hardiness. The name literally describes the breed: "small tail, cold-climate sheep".
