Tips
usage
圄 almost only appears in the literary word 囹圄 (囹圄, 'prison'), often in the set phrase 身陷囹圄 ('to be thrown into prison'). It is formal and written, not used in casual speech.
囗 is the enclosure radical, the big surrounding box. Its strokes wrap the inside: the top and left go first, the closing bottom stroke comes last after the inner part is written. It pictures the walls of a jail.
