mistakes
Two different Wei states: 卫国 (Wèiguó, founded by Kang Shu, last to fall in 209 BCE) vs. 魏国 (Wèiguó, the Warring States and later Three Kingdoms power). Same pinyin, different characters and history — context disambiguates.
history
Famous figures from 卫国 include the philosopher 子贡 (Zigong, Confucius' disciple) and the swordsman-courtier 子路. Confucius lived in Wei intermittently for around ten years.
