Made from the leaves of Aspalathus linearis, native to South Africa's Cederberg region. Naturally caffeine-free and low in tannin, which is why it's marketed in China as a 'sleep-friendly' tea. The transliteration 路依保斯 (lùyībǎosī) also exists but the descriptive 南非茶 dominates retail packaging.
