区政府 is the sub-municipal government of a district (
区), the fourth tier in China's administrative hierarchy

街道. Its head is the
区长 (district head), who works in parallel with the
区委书记 (district Party secretary). Below it are
街道办事处 (sub-district offices) and neighborhood
居委会.
