Tips

history
One of the 九卿 ('Nine Ministers') of the Han bureaucracy. Originally called 郎中令, it was renamed 光禄勋 by Emperor Wu of Han in 104 BCE. It oversaw the palace guard 郎官, imperial attendants, and ceremonial functions; essentially the chief of the inner court.
