张冬玲) is a Tujia-ethnic singer from Hunan whose 2006 debut
哑巴 made her known for a raw, tribal-influenced pop style. After a hiatus, she returned in the 2010s focused on preserving ethnic-minority musical heritage through her 'Sound of the Future' (
未来之声) project.
