闲心 most often appears in negative constructions — 没闲心 ('don't have the bandwidth/headspace'), 哪有闲心 ('how would I have the spare attention'). The 闲 (idle) + 心 (heart/mind) literally means 'idle heart', i.e. mental capacity not occupied with worries.
