Operating from Shanghai's French Concession and later Chongqing under KMT protection, Kim Gu organized the 1932 Hongkou Park bombing that killed Japanese officers. Assassinated in Seoul in 1949. His memoir 《白凡逸志》 (Paekpŏm Ilchi) is a Korean classic.
