Two common Chinese renderings exist: 詹姆斯·庞德 and 詹姆斯·邦德. 庞德 is the older / Taiwanese-leaning transliteration; 邦德 is more common in Mainland film translations. CC-CEDICT lists the 詹姆斯·龐德 form. The 庞德街 in London (Bond Street) is the same surname.
