Don't confuse
脏物 (zāngwù, 'dirty stuff' —
脏 with
月/
肉 component) with
赃物 (zāngwù, 'stolen goods' —
赃 with
贝 'shell/money' component). Same pinyin, near-identical look, very different meaning. Subtitles sometimes write
脏物 where
赃物 ('contraband / loot') would be technically correct, but standard legal Chinese uses
赃物.
