The full / formal term. The clipped slang form 网暴 (wǎngbào) is far more common in casual speech and headlines: 他被网暴了 'he got cyberbullied.' Both are everyday vocabulary now after several high-profile suicide cases (e.g. 粉色头发女孩 in 2022).
