松糕 (sōnggāo): steamed rice cake (soft, fluffy, from glutinous rice flour)

A Jiangnan tradition, most famously from Ningbo (宁波). The traditional version layers glutinous rice flour with sugar and red-bean paste; osmanthus or dates often go on top. Eaten around Lunar New Year for good luck — 糕 sounds like 高 (rising).
