Tips

history
From 《三国··》: '无所不为' — 'Estimating the wickedness of his heart, there is nothing he wouldn't do.' Note: nearly always pejorative — refers specifically to evil deeds, not 'enthusiastic willingness'.
mistakes
Don't confuse with 无所不能 (wúsuǒbùnéng, can do anything = capable) or 不知 (wúsuǒbùzhī, knows everything = knowledgeable). Those are praise; 无所不为 is condemnation.
