Used for both cooking (mixing fillings, salads, feed) and construction (mixing cement, mortar). Note the second character 和 is read huò here, not the more common hé.
mistakes
Don't confuse with 拌合 (bànhé) — same idea, different reading. In cooking contexts you may also see 拌 alone (拌沙拉 'toss a salad').
