夬 ('decisive', also a hexagram of the Book of Changes) is archaic and not used independently in modern Chinese. It survives as the phonetic in 决 (to decide), 缺 (to lack), 诀 (knack / parting), 快 (fast), and 块 (lump / piece).

夬guài
decisive; resolute
Treated as one unit. It historically pictured a hand pulling an archer's thumb-ring, the moment of release that gives the 'decisive' sense; the modern shape fused into a single graph in 夬.
Filed under radical 大 (dà, #37) by convention. 大 is not a separate component in 夬, so no strokes are highlighted.
