history

From 《列子·汤问》: the pupil 薛谭 thought he had learned all his teacher 秦青 could teach and set off home. At the farewell Qin Qing sang so that 声振林木，响遏行云 "the sound shook the trees and stopped the drifting clouds". The pupil apologized and never spoke of leaving again.
