The suffix
界 (jiè, 'realm/circles') turns a field into the community of people inside it. Same pattern:
文学界 (literary circles),
学术界 (academia),
娱乐界 (entertainment industry),
商界 (business community). Use it to mean 'the world of X' as a social group, not 'the field of X' as an abstract subject.
