隗 is not used as an ordinary word today; it survives mainly as a surname and in the set phrase 请自隗始 ('let it begin with me'), from the Warring-States advisor 郭隗. An archaic adjective sense 'lofty / towering' also exists, plus a separate surname reading kuí.
