Tips

usage
近乎 is more literary than 几乎 (almost). 近乎 emphasizes 'bordering on' or 'approaching' a quality, while 几乎 simply means 'almost'. 近乎 is often followed by adjectives: 近乎完美, 近乎疯狂.
