In daily speech most people just say 空调 (kōngtiáo); 空调机 adds the explicit '机' (machine) and is more common in product copy and technical contexts. Note 空调 is read kōngtiáo here — 调 takes the second-tone reading 'tiáo' (to adjust), not 'diào'.
