服务号 (fúwùhào): service account (WeChat)

服务号 is one of two types of WeChat 公众号 (Official Accounts). Companies use it for transactional services (orders, customer support, banking notifications). Compared with 订阅号 (subscription account), 服务号 has stricter posting limits but unlocks payment APIs and shows up in users' chat list rather than a folder.

usage

Pair with 订阅号 (subscription account, for daily content) and 企业号 / 企业微信 (enterprise WeChat). When a Chinese brand says 关注我们的服务号 (follow our service account), they almost always mean WeChat specifically.
