Right side — modern shape resembles 氏 'clan' but historically pictured stylised people walking under the banner. Standalone 氏 has 4 strokes; here it absorbs the two marcher-heads above for 6, locking in the picture of a banner-led travelling unit — an army, brigade, or party of travellers.
