Standard networking term - TCP/IP traffic is broken into 数据包 for routing. In casual mobile-data conversations 数据包 can also mean a 'data plan / data bundle' from a carrier (e.g. 流量包 'traffic bundle' is more common for that sense). Tech writing favors 数据包 for the technical packet sense.
