Chinese banks have a tiered branch system:
总行 (zǒngháng, head office) →
分行 (fēnháng, regional/provincial branch) →
支行 (zhīháng, sub-branch) →
营业网点 (yíngyè wǎngdiǎn, retail outlets).
支行 is the level where most retail customers actually walk in. Note
行 is read háng (not xíng) when it means a row, business, or bank.
