Su Shi's "Jiangchengzi: Hunting at Mizhou" shows his bold wish to fight for his country.

Tips

history
苏轼 wrote it in 1075 as prefect of 密州, in today's Shandong, after leading a hunt. It opens 老夫聊发少年狂, 'this old man, for once, lets loose a young man's wildness', though he was not yet forty, and ends with the wish to draw his bow and shoot the Wolf Star, 天狼, meaning the enemies on the northern frontier.
usage
Su Shi wrote several pieces to the tune 江城子, among them a famous elegy for his first wife from the same year, so the subtitle is what names this one: 《江城子·密州出猎》. It is counted among the first ci in the bold 豪放 style.
