usage

宿营 carries a military/expeditionary feel — soldiers, scouts, mountaineers, archaeologists. For weekend recreational camping, 露营 (lùyíng) or 野营 (yěyíng) is more natural. The dedicated camping ground for troops is a 宿营地 (sùyíngdì).
