usage

Specifically the parade-of-nations style entry at sports events (Olympics, Asian Games, school sports days). The matching exit ceremony is 退场式 (tuìchǎngshì). Don't confuse with 开幕式 (kāimùshì), which is the whole opening ceremony — the 入场式 is just the marching-in segment.
