Highly literary. The
令 here is the classical honorific 'fine, esteemed' (same as in
令尊 lìngzūn 'your esteemed father'), and
誉 is 'reputation'. In modern speech you'd say
美誉 (měiyù) or
好名声 (hǎo míngsheng). Reserve
令誉 for written tributes, eulogies, and historical-style writing.
