孙中山 called for reviving China in 1894 with 振兴中华. The Communist Party later made 中华民族伟大复兴 a core slogan, and in November 2012 习近平, visiting the exhibition 复兴之路, called it the Chinese Dream (中国梦). The target is the middle of the century, around the People's Republic's centenary in 2049.
