usage
Note 与 here is read yù (to take part in), not yǔ (and). 与会 = to attend a meeting; 者 = the one who. Compare 参会者, a near-synonym slightly more common in business writing.
mistakes
Don't read this as yǔhuìzhě. The yù reading is reserved for 'participate', as in 参与. Mispronouncing it is a giveaway among learners.
