绿色食品 is a Chinese state-issued certification (since 1990, run by the China Green Food Development Center) for foods produced with limited synthetic inputs. Two grades: AA (organic-equivalent) and A (low-input). It's not identical to USDA Organic — closer to a national eco-label.
mistakes
绿色食品 does NOT mean 'green-colored food' (vegetables, etc.). The 绿色 here means 'eco / clean,' a metaphorical use of green that also shows up in 绿色出行 (eco-friendly travel) and 绿色能源 (clean energy).
