usage
Note the second-tone-then-fourth-tone reading: 相 (xiāng, look at) + 中 (zhòng, hit the mark). The 中 here means 'to hit the target' — same as in 中奖 (win a prize), not the 'middle' reading. Taiwan often pronounces it xiàngzhòng.
mistakes
Don't read as xiāngzhōng — when 中 means 'hit/strike', it's always fourth tone.
