China's 'four great wood-carving traditions' (中国四大木雕) are 东阳木雕 (Dongyang, Zhejiang, relief carving), 黄杨木雕 (Yueqing boxwood), 龙眼木雕 (Fujian longan-wood), and 潮州木雕 (Chaozhou gilt carving for temples). All are recognized intangible cultural heritage.
