Critics call the obsession 唯零百论 ('the only-zero-hundred argument').

零 (líng, 'zero') + 百 (bǎi, 'hundred') = '0 to 100'. Synonym 百公里加速 (bǎigōnglǐ jiāsù, 'hundred-kilometer acceleration'). Stat is always reported in seconds: 4秒级 (sì miǎo jí, 'sub-4-second tier') is a common shorthand.
