胡弄 is a colloquial variant of the more standard 糊弄 (hùnong) — they share the same meaning and most native speakers use them interchangeably in speech. In writing, prefer 糊弄. Both forms take a neutral tone on the second syllable: hú·nong / hù·nong, not hú nòng.
register
Casual / colloquial — common in spoken northern Mandarin. The here echoes in 胡说 (húshuō, 'talk nonsense'), giving the word its 'careless / reckless' flavor.
