Tips

usage
眼见 has two uses: (1) 'to witness with one's own eyes' (emphasising direct personal observation), and (2) as an adverb meaning 'evidently/visibly/imminently' before an event about to happen. The proverb 眼见为实 (yǎnjiàn wéi shí, 'seeing is believing') uses the first sense.
