Specifically 'amblyopia' — vision that can't be corrected by glasses despite a structurally normal eye, typically from disrupted visual development in childhood. Don't confuse with
近视 (jìnshì, myopia / nearsightedness) or
视力差 (shìlì chà, generally poor vision).
