usage
Pairs with 施主 (shīzhǔ, 'donor'). 受主 atoms accept electrons (creating holes → P-type semiconductor); 施主 atoms donate electrons (→ N-type). Same '主' root as in 主人 (host) — these are the 'host' impurity atoms.
